Working Group on Case Studies

Recognizing that different types of research approaches can provide different types of evidence to guide peacemaking, the case study working group explores ways that case studies can usefully contribute to the evidence base that informs peacemaking practice, as well as ways to overcome the challenges in case study research. The working group may explore ways that multiple case studies can complement each other, adding up to more cumulative knowledge. The case study working group welcomes members who share an interest in innovating contextually and culturally relevant research that presents nuanced insights on ways to prevent and end wars.
