Advisory Board
- Susan Allen: is a co-founder of the Better Evidence Project and Professor of Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University’s Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. She also directs the Center for Peacemaking Practice at the Carter School
- Betty Bigombe: is the current Ambassador of Uganda to Malaysia. Ambassador Bigombe has also served as Uganda’s Special Envoy to South Sudan from 2019 -2021. She is a also a member of the FemWise–Africa and Commonwealth women mediation networks. She led the peace and humanitarian efforts in northern Uganda, first in the 1990s as Minister of State for Northern Uganda and later in her private capacity as a chief mediator to the conflict in the mid-2000s.
- Emmanual Hubaka Bombande: is Senior Mediation Advisor, Department of Political Affairs, United Nations. He recently served as UN Senior Mediation Advisor in the Central African Republic.
- Milt Lauenstein: is co-founder of the Better Evidence Project, and a long-time philanthropist supporting work to end wars and prevent violent conflict. He is a former CEO and President of several successful corporations, co-founded the Purdue Peace Project and co-author of the book Peace and Conflict since 1991
- Alpaslan Özerdem: is Dean of George Mason University’s Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution and Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies.
- Adeline Sibanda: is the Director of the Pacific Institute in Zimbabwe and the managing consultant for Troparg Consultancy Services. She is the past President of the African Evaluation Association and serves on the Peace Building Evaluation Consortium advisory board and on the boards of Sedgeperk and Surge Africa.
- Arne Strand: is a Senior Researcher at the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Norway. He previously served as Director of the U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre at CMI and Coordinator at the Norwegian Centre for Humanitarian Studies.
- Beza Tesfaye: is Director of Research and Learning for Migration and Climate Change at Mercy Corps. She is also Senior Associate for the Project on Fragility and Mobility at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
- Leslie Wingender: is Director of Peacebuilding at Humanity United. She previously worked as a Senior Advisor for Program Performance and Quality at Mercy Corps.
